Computing intent
At Worple we understand that technology will play an increasingly important role in our student’s lives. We want to educate our pupils on how to use technology positively, responsibly and safely, and our curriculum encompassing computer science, information technology and digital literacy reflects this. Implementation
Our curriculum is delivered mainly through Teach Computing which allows us to develop and promote computing as an evidence-informed school subject. Lessons are taught both discreetly and within other subjects to allow skills to be applied and embedded in line with the National Curriculum.
Impact
Our children will leave Worple as confident, responsible and creative users of technology; able to select and apply their skills safely and effectively. They will have the tools and knowledge to adapt in an increasingly complex digital workplace where they will have the capacity to create and inspire.
