Scrooge Visits Worple

 

Following our trip to Isleworth & Syon School to see their production of A Christmas Carol, Year 5 were invited to take part in a writing competition about the importance of kindness. Just before the Christmas break, we were visited by Scrooge himself! He came to present prizes for the winning pieces. Dylan produced an original comic strip and Ellie wrote a detailed retelling of the original story. They each received a beautiful, signed copy of Christmas Carol. Thanks Scrooge!
